Heatstroke can be deadly for animals as well as humans. It is something that you should not ignore.
The signs of heatstroke include excessive or exaggerated panting, lethargy, weakness, drooling, high fever,dark red gums, rapid heartbeat, unresponsiveness to commands and surroundings, vomiting, collapse, staring and/or anxious expression and warm/dry skin.
If you think your pet may have heatstroke, take it to your Vet's office immediately. It could save his or her life.
